PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL YOUTUBE TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence social media has in changing student behavior, to determine student learning behavior, and to determine the effect of using social media on learning behavior in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti students at SDN Bojongkihiang. The approach that the author uses in this study is a quantitative approach and
the method used by the author is the descriptive method. The population of this research is the students of SDN Bojongkihiang, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency. The types of data collected to solve the above problems are qualitative data and quantitative data. Quantitative data comes from the results of observations, interviews, documentation, and the results of reviewing the
literature. While the quantitative data comes from several respondents who have been determined as the research sample. Sources of data obtained in this study are primary and secondary data. The primary data are students of SDN Bojongkihiang, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency, and teachers. While the secondary data are books, magazines, and articles related to the problem that the author is researching. While the data processing using SPSS 17.0 for Windows. The results of the study show that 50% of respondents often open the YouTube application, out of a total of 54 respondents. Most respondents open YouTube to look for study materials or assignments from school and watch videos or content from famous Youtubers.
