Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Gallery Walk method on interest in learning in class XI Catering 2 SMK MVP ARS International Bandung with Material Principles and Practices of Islamic Economics. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method. This research will be carried out using correlational descriptive research. Descriptive research is research that tries to
describe a symptom, event, event that is happening at the present time. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis was carried out using descriptive for qualitative data, and using calculations for quantitative data. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that 1) The effect of the Gallery Walk method on class XI Catering 2 SMK MVP ARS International Bandung with Material Principles and Practices of Islamic Economics is included in the high category, resulting in an average score of 3.87. 2) The learning interest of class XI Catering 2 SMK MVP ARS International Bandung after using the Gallery Walk method with Materials Principles and Practices of Islamic Economics is included in the high category, producing an average score of 3.90. (3) There is a significant effect between the gallery walk method and the learning interest of class XI Catering 2 SMK MPV
ARS International Bandung about Islamic Religious Education and Character Education with the subject of Islamic Economics Principles and Practices, with a correlation value of 0.680 which shows a strong positive relationship and has a valid regression equation Y = 24,417 + 0.687 X.
