Abstract

Overcoming hedonistic behavior towards students. This makes internal and external encouragement to change consumptive habits to be productive. This study aims to fortify hedonistic behavior towards students so that students can always distinguish between needs and wants. This study uses the library research method, namely research conducted by collecting, reading, and examining from various written sources, which aims to answer the problems of the study and master the phenomenon of meaning originating from social/humanitarian problems. This study shows; First, hedonism is the habitual behavior of students in the millennial era, in all activities that lead to worldly pleasures. Second, hedonism or extravagant behavior which has the meaning of excessive behavior or crossing the line, where the behavior of many students today is hedonism, and Islam prohibits it. Allah also does not like excessive people. Third, overcoming hedonistic behavior has many ways, one of which is by implementing the 5M + 1S program. The research findings describe how to deal with hedonistic behavior towards students with the 5M + 1S program. This study recommends further research to examine how parents' perspectives deal with this hedonistic behavior.
